jaapv Posted May 1, 2007 Share #1 Posted May 1, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) We all know that the M8, in AE mode,warns for crass underexposure (i.e. lens-cap ) by blinking the left hand triangle diode. I found that, when I was experimenting with a UV pass filter,that quite normal exposures (.45 at ISO 320) provoked the warning. Clearly the camera compares the blue dot reading with the actual exposure and warns when the difference gets large. The M8 turns out to be quite UV sensitive, about as much as IR. It shows up as Magenta as well. I'll post some shots when I have gotten my post-processing up to speed. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
