Advertisement Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Hi jonoslack, Take a look here a short article on the 2.0.1.5 firmware update. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
marknorton Posted June 30, 2014 Share #2 Posted June 30, 2014 Thanks Jono, ever helpful. Is it still the case that if you use the EVF for focussing and framing, you also have to use it for image review unless you press the EVF button? I find it extremely irritating and I'm wondering if my T which I am picking up on Saturday works in the same way.

jaapv Posted June 30, 2014 Share #4 Posted June 30, 2014 Hello Jono! The article is nice and to the point, but the photographs were the things I enjoyed most.
LocalHero1953 Posted July 1, 2014 Share #5 Posted July 1, 2014 Hi Jono I'm not sure what you mean here: "Having to use the focus assist button to change the exposure compensation was a real irritant. Now there is a nice fluid way to work, with full time EV Comp on the rear dial and using the front dial for zooming in where necessary." Do you mean "front dial", or do you mean "front button and rear dial", or am I missing something about the functionality? Having tried it, I found it quite natural to use the rear dial for EV normally, but temporarily for adjusting zooming in after pressing the front button. Previously I didn't use EV compensation as it was too much of a faff, but I'll try and build into my practices now.

The moral of this tale is never to write articles in the channel tunnel!

Rick Posted July 1, 2014 Share #8 Posted July 1, 2014 Jono - Really nice photos... and nice review. How about we meet next August or September somewhere as we travel from Amsterdam south through Austria/Sweden/Germany etc... we may even fly through Heathrow and try and layover in London. You bring the new beta M360 and I'll buy the wine.
