NB23 Posted September 1, 2016 Share #663 Posted September 1, 2016 Do you mean Lightroom contamination? Same results In Iridient Developer 2. It is infrafed "contamination", which shows that a IR/Cut filter would be welcome. Even green nature will benefit from the filter. Maybe it is one of the hidden, yet very real reasons of why the M260's colors aren't very appreciated...

phongph Posted October 12, 2016 Share #672 Posted October 12, 2016 +SL Hi TheGodParticle! It is very nice image with SL. Please advice the image quality from SL 601 & Apo M 50 vs SL 601 & SL Lux 50 f1.4 at Photokina 2016? I intend to take M Apo 50 f2 over SL 50 Lux f1.4. Ps: my gear is SL 601 & SL 24-90/ f2.8-4.0. Thanks!
Mahesh Posted October 12, 2016 Share #673 Posted October 12, 2016 Of course this lens is not designed for Sony A7 series, however has anyone tried and seen how this works in different situations? I tried briefly on my A7ii in a shop but did not notice a huge difference to the standard cron on A7ii
TheGodParticle/Hari Posted October 12, 2016 Author Share #674 Posted October 12, 2016 Hi TheGodParticle! It is very nice image with SL. Thanks! Thank you Unfortunately I was sick and I missed Photokina :/ However, I will be in Wetzlar sometime next week and can provide some sample images as well we preliminary feedback on the lens. I'll try and make some quick and dirty comparisons with the SL 50/1.4 vs M-50/1.4ASPH and M-50/2APO. Obviously won't be scientific but I'll do it for whatever it may be worth.
james.liam Posted October 13, 2016 Share #675 Posted October 13, 2016 (edited) Now that comparison I look forward to seeing. Wish you a peedy recovery from the illness! 'adamdewilde' was beaten up on a 50SL thread because he had the temerity to take issue with the size. He worked with one recently and intimated that though not as heavy as expected, it isn't an Otus. I suspect neither is it the 50APO but that's wild, unfounded speculation on my part. Hari, if you end up buying one, get it custom painted. Red is nice. You can then resell it at a premium... pop Posted October 13, 2016 Share #677 Posted October 13, 2016 ...'adamdewilde' was beaten up on a 50SL thread because he had the temerity to take issue with the size.... This is not the case. No one here objects to people objecting to the size of those lenses. Many do that, others don't.
