carlos diaz Posted April 30, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted April 30, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Anyone with a simular problem? Like many others I am now using a new CV 15mm lens. My problem is that I were glasses, graduated bi-focals to be exact, and cannot see things sharp throught the viewfinder without looking through the bottom of my glassses........as if I were reading a book. Is there a corrective lens or some way to adjust the viewfinder? Thanks for your suggestions! Carlos

AlanJW Posted April 30, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted April 30, 2007 I wear graduated lenses as well ("progesssive") and I use the VC 15mm viewfinder (with the 12mm Heliar) without a problem -- looking through the top (distance) part of my glasses.

Alan, thanks for your response. I believe there is something wrong with the viewfinder. I only need my glasses to read, so even when I take my glasses off, the finder is very blurry. I remember there being some discussion regarding glass being out of alignment. I think i may need to send it back! CD
doubice Posted May 1, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted May 1, 2007 Carlos, Â Have somebody who does not wear glasses look through the finder. Do they see the image blurry as well? If they don't, there is nothing wrong with the finder. Â Best, Â Jan
jaapv Posted May 1, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted May 1, 2007 I got one from Camersquest last week. I had to return it. It was so blurry or more like distorted for lack of a better description that it gave me headaches. It was like using my late grandmothers reading glasses. spydrxx Posted May 1, 2007 Share #6 Â Posted May 1, 2007 I also wear graduated lenses, but my finder is clear when I look through the top of my glasses (distance). You might check the alignment of your eyeglasses and if that doesn't solve the problem, I'd return the finder.
