stuny Posted April 29, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 29, 2007 Pete - An interesting homage to Klaus, with your own twist -- the texture and rolling gradation of the brown.

kld Posted April 30, 2007 Share #4 Posted April 30, 2007 Pete, some day I have to visit Cheshire and to look around a bit there. I am still fascinated by hills, fields and landscape structures. I have moved, and where I am now, wood and meadows are dominating. But I have found an acre and a picture of it will be posted soon. -- Klaus
elansprint72 Posted April 30, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted April 30, 2007 Thanks guys. This was from a walk yesterday; most of Cheshire is very green at the moment, all the trees seem to have leaves at once this year, which is not normal. Also not normal is the length of time that narcissi have been flowering, mid February until now! The little black blobs in the landscape shot are Swallows, which arrived overnight Saturday around these parts. "Our" House-Martins started arriving yesterday; remains to be seen what happens because the large Edwardian villa next door (where they live) was painted at the end of last year and all the nests were knocked down by the painters. To see what I mean by "green" check this shot: http://www.leica-camera-user.com/other/23053-canal-du-midi.html which shows it just about like it is; I've never seen it like this before!
