echorec Posted April 28, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 28, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is there any practical use for a BEOON today? I´m offered one but it seems limited to shooting coins & stamps etc. Thanks.
Advertisement Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Hi echorec, Take a look here Beoon ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
doubice Posted April 28, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 28, 2007 Gunnar, If the only camera you own is a Leica M and you need to take pictures of stamps and coins, the BEOON might be handy. The best suited cameras for this type of photography are SLR's with macro lenses or extension tubes. All the best, Jan
luigi bertolotti Posted April 30, 2007 Share #3 Posted April 30, 2007 Interesting mainly for collectors... if you are one and it is rather cheap for your pockets, buy... as have been said, in strictly user terms, it has a limited specific field. beoon Posted May 14, 2007 Share #5 Posted May 14, 2007 An SLR and macro lens / extension tubes is better but also much more expensive. I use my Beoon stand to copy old photographs for people and the negatives can be scanned and copied to disc thus enabling them to be e-mailed etc
