M9 issues right after a recent CLA

Hi, I wonder if anyone here can help me about this issue. I recently purchased a used Leica M9 which was just CLA by Leica NJ. After getting the camera, I found two "minor" issues:

1. The shutter speed dial though works without any problem, but I found if I used my thumb to press down the dial by a little bit force, it can make some click sound. It seems that the dial is not tighten perfectly.

2. When reviewing the images, I found the right arrow key on the main dial was so sensitive and keep skipping the images, i.e., if you press once to jump to the next image, actually it will jump to the one next to it.

I wonder if there is any installation issues during the CLA as the original seller notified Leica to make the camera return to the factory specifications.

Thank you very much!

The answer to no 1 has been debated to death on Ragefinder Forum - it would seem that because the dial is just a rotary electrical switch, it is likely to be able to move up and down on the detent spring. It is not directly fixed to a speed shaft as it would be in the MP / M6 / M3 / etc.

I don't know about no 2, but mine does that too - I put it down to "sausage fingers" ;)

The click on the shutter speed dial is 'normal' but the button to skip images is not. On the M (Typ 240) it no longer clicks though (the shutter speed dial)

In the process of replacing its back, my own M9 came back from a screen upgrade with a couple of buttons that feel softer than normal, in particular the INFO button. By softer I mean there is no discernible click (to the ear or feel), as in the case of the other buttons (or all buttons, before the upgrade). It's slightly surprising, but not really annoying, so I did nothing about it.

Which is to say, these things do happen at Solms/Wetzlar.

When mine came back everything seemed to feel the same - and I certainly appreciate the free new sensor! Love the sapphire glass.

(Skipped 240, wonder what they'll come up with next in the M lineup. Still, the M9 is all I need from day to night.)
