OK to Store Spare Battery in Charger?

There was a post here that after the charger shuts off, you can expect a slight discharge of the battery.

I remove mine when it is finished charging -- but I don't sit by the charger. On occasion, I charge before going to bed and remove in the morning.

With enuf batteries (and enuf money) there's not so much worry.

I wouldn't do that. There's sure to be some drain of the charged battery if you leave it in. I take it out, and wrap it in a small plastic baggie to keep it from accidental contact. Even though that does take slightly more space. Shelf life of a charged LiIon battery excellent.

While isolating the contacts of batteries and the like is a good idea, plastic bags are not always the best choice.

If I were in an environment where sand blows all the time, I would definitely want this sort of barrier. However, plastic bags seal in moisture. You have to decide how much of that you want to have.
