platypus Posted March 28, 2014 Share #3 Posted March 28, 2014 This is so good, there is so much going on, angles, tones, textures, the light, the little flowers, the distant view. It is so perfectly composed, and it just had to be b&w so that it could be appreciated without the distraction of colour. Excellent!
pauledell Posted March 29, 2014 Share #4 Posted March 29, 2014 Howard, A wonderful picture with great composition, lovely tones and crisp sharpness. This is as good as it gets. Paul
}{B Posted March 29, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted March 29, 2014 Thanks for the comments. It was a struggle to get the image looking as I wanted it as more contrast would have lost the texture in the fence which is in shadow. I cropped part of the shot on the right to reduce the amount of stone wall showing and to bring the weeds into a better position in the frame. All in all I'm pleased with the result.
