FMB Posted April 24, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 24, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) According to the new angles covered by the lenses on M8, in which circumstances should the diffusers be used? Since the diffusers when they are attached to the flash change the inner regulations, also depending on the mode used, when are indicated? Thank you, everybody can help. Francisco. Advertisement Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Hi FMB, Take a look here SF24D: WA&Tele diffusers in M8 case.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted April 24, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 24, 2007 WA 28 mm equivalent and shorter i.e from 21 mm downwards Tele 90 mm equivalent and longer i.e. from 75 mm upwards I use the WA in combination with the SFILL softener for all focal lengths. SFILL is sold by Leicagoodies and highly recommended. Don't worry about the internal diffuser detection; it automatically compensates and you won't see any detrimental effect in the resulting pictures. This is basically a "forget that it is there" type of feature.
FMB Posted April 24, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted April 24, 2007 Thank you Jaap, always so kind. I had done some calculations and wanted to confirm. Precisely I also wanted to ask about SFILL accessory. I' going to buy it. But do you recommend some other accessory from Leicagoodies for the M8. Making use of the opportunity... My best regards, Francisco.
