pgk Posted March 15, 2014 Share #1 Posted March 15, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) ..... that the owner could have afforded a number plate:D! My wife overtook this machine in her Peugeot 205 on the M6 motorway and it later returned the compliment. I was under the impression that ALL cars had to clearly display number plates (even trade plates) in the UK:eek:. Welcome, dear visitor! pauledell Posted March 16, 2014 Share #3 Posted March 16, 2014 Paul, A fun picture. Did you happen to glance through the rear windshield? Some people place temporary plates on the shelf by the window. It isn't right but that doesn't seem to matter. Paul
stuny Posted March 17, 2014 Share #4 Posted March 17, 2014 The Mclaren's are so fast the numbers plate must have been sucked off in the slipstream. Nice car, nice shot.

XVarior Posted March 25, 2014 Share #7 Posted March 25, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) This reminds me of Steve Jobs who had never used a plate to any of his cars. Reason he said, it disturb the design of a car :-) when asked how he managed to do that "legally" he said, that under the US law, you can have a car without registration for 6 months after the purchase, so Steve owned his cars for 6 months only and then sold them and get a new one and so on... maybe the owner of this MClaren got inspired from Steve's method!
