Ingrid,

A lineman's nightmare in b&w. Once these substations are completed, I don't believe the linemen who built it care to work on it again. The tones seem just a bit light, I can't find all the lines.

Fractally Minimal as in the tradition of Niccolò da Cusa. Excellent compo with stunning detail effect in silhouettes.

the light forms in addition all the details -

Details which are of different thickness -

The light can be weak details appear even weaker -

thank you for your description .....:)

but who is Niccolo da Cusa .......?

The whole series appeals very much to me but this one is my favourite. You're walking the fine line between realistic and abstract. The resulting photo gives us much to see and much to think about and it's beautifully done.

a sound statement, i am very pleased

thanks so much euston ....:)

Fascinating shot - it has a sort of fizzing energy of static electricity to it.

Sorry for the long delay in answering. Niccolò da Cusa is a philosopher known for the 'coincidentia oppositorum'.

thank you - better late than never ...:)

i'm not as well read as you are, but quite curious

and 'coincidentia oppositorum' sounds good......
