Firmware update issue

I just installed the firmware update 1.196 on my M9. The entire image parameters menu is now gone-white balance, compression, resolution, exposure comp, bracketing, user profile-all gone. Even the sub-menu that was available on the DNG setup are missing. As a result I cannot use the sharpening, color saturation, contrast, or color management settings. Is this an issue anyone else has seen? Or am I just doing something wrong?

My first thoughts as well. The problem is the image parameters menu is no longer there. Its is gone. I can't go to the User profile to make a change. It doesn't exist anymore. Also, if I were in snapshot mode I should still be able to change the color saturation and it will not allow me to make any change.

Did you wait the required three seconds before continuing during the update? Try reinstalling the firmware. You do not need menu options for that, just, as suggested above, insert an SD card with a newly downloaded .upd file on it and reinstall.

Problem resolved. I unzipped the update on a different computer with different zip software and now my M9 is working fine. Could be coincidence, but all I care about is the camera is back to normal. Thanks for everyone's input.
