This looks like stolen equipment to me

I never know where to make my post so anyone is welcome to move this.

I always check Craigslist.org for Leica gear and ran across this post:

Leica lenses for sale. 21,35,50,90, ASPH, titanium, silver

I tried to call the RCMP but they said they don't check up on stuff like this and the officer on the phone told me they have no burglary task force in Toronto so I just hung up. If this stuff looks familiar to someone here it might be your gear or some really stupid person giving this stuff away,

He is not selling everything for $1000.

It is just a placeholder. The ad directs you to various auction sites where the actual bids are shown.

It does not appear to be fraudulent at first glance, however, I have no idea what the whole story is.

Unless you have personal knowledge of the actual "theft", it is very foolish to start calling the police because you have mistakenly identified "stolen goods". Vigilantism gone amuck.

This is very, very true. The OP's intentions are good, but the process needs to be a lot tighter than 'I think they might be stolen'. If the police were able to follow through, it could cause a lot of unnecessary trouble for someone if they were legitimately selling them.

Still, the page was removed by Craigslist. Maybe the OP's instinct was not so far amiss after all.
