Shootist Posted April 23, 2007 Share #6  Posted April 23, 2007 is this book for lightroom?, whats the title  It seems to be. I just ordered it from Amazon along with his new book on PS CS3. I have his CS2 book and it is the best I have used.  Just do a search for Martin Evening on Amazon and you will come up with all the book published by him. You could also use google and I bet you will find it.

rupertbeagle Posted April 24, 2007 Share #8 Â Posted April 24, 2007 Does this version of Lightroom support the M8? I am still deciding which way to go since Aperture does NOT support the M8.

Not sure what you mean by Support the M8. As far as I know LR supports all current camera RAW formats and since the M8 produces DNG (Adobe format) RAW files I have not had any problem using either LR or ACR for CS2 (3.7) or CS3 (4) to read the M8 DNG files correctly. That's not the case with Nikon NEF files.
Eoin Posted April 24, 2007 Share #10 Â Posted April 24, 2007 Does this version of Lightroom support the M8? I am still deciding which way to go since Aperture does NOT support the M8. Â Aperture can un-officially support the M8 DNG with a little hack and a pass through Adobe DNG converter and will officially be supported in the near future. It is unknown if the M8's DNG will still need to be passed through the Adobe DNG converter in the official support. I'm just marking your card on this because current DNG support within Aperture requires a camera raw file to be passed through the converter and the camera to be already supported by Aperture. It will be interesting seeing as the M8 is already producing DNGs.
