How can I get a software which is going to help me producing photos frames. I need something not too expensive and easy to use. I don't want to use photoshop on top of LR. Guest WPalank Posted April 22, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 22, 2007 Pierre-Olivier, Unfortunately at this point and time LR does not support layers or brushes (both important if you wanted to create your own edge effects, the cheapest way). Unfortunately, it looks like you will have to bite the bullet and at least purchase Photoshop Elements (about $80) at Amazon.com. From there you can go to onONE Software and get the Plug-in Photoshop Essentials (about $60). onOne Software - Essentials for Photoshop Elements According to their literature, it allows you to create up to 500 borders, frames and edge effects. Onone also has a product called PhotoFrame Pro which is very pricey (about $170) that does a really nice job. Beyond that of note is, Elements is often bundled with digital cameras and scanners. So you may have a free copy laying around. Also, do a Google search on "free photoshop plug-ins" sites. There are a ton. I hope this helps. Happy Earth Day everyone. Peace!
