Nathan King Posted January 29, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 29, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I never knew much about rangefinders until a friend found a Kodak Retina in a box of his late relative's belongings. He knows nothing about photography, so he let me try it out. I really enjoyed how easy it was to focus despite the cloudy finder. Ever since I've wanted a good rangefinder, and Leica seemed like the best option once I got over the sticker shock. I've recently purchased a black M6 classic in mint condition. I look forward to many years of travel photography with it and learning as much as I can from the knowledgable members of this forum.

Nathan King Posted January 29, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted January 29, 2014 Welcome Nathan! What lens did you choose to go with the M6? I'm still deciding, actually; however, the focal length will certainly be 50mm.

Nathan King Posted February 1, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted February 1, 2014 I ended up going with a black 50mm Elmar-M 2.8 lens because of how compact it is and the fact that I almost never set extremely wide apertures.
