Advertisement Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Hi appleman, Take a look here Epsom Inks. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Jeff S Posted January 19, 2014 Share #2 Posted January 19, 2014 Well, for starters, salts came from Epsom, while inks come from Epson. I don't buy inks by animal names, but rather by cartridge numbers and specs. Epson provides specs regarding ink capacity, longevity, color and various other characteristics. For the 3800, I buy UltraChrome K3 inks with 80ml capacity. The R3000 handles the same inks with 25.9ml capacity, which is what I'd buy if I had one. Jeff S Posted January 19, 2014 Share #4 Posted January 19, 2014 Those are the inks that are used by Epson for your printer, and should have been included if you bought new. Jeff
250swb Posted January 20, 2014 Share #5 Posted January 20, 2014 Does anybody know why the difference between the various Epsom ink names, eg: Turtle, Cheetah, Owl etc.? I have an Epsom R3000. The inks for the R3000 are packed in containers with a picture of a turtle on the front. The part numbers begin with T157x (x being the individual ink colour number) Steve
