The current programming pays a high respect to expressed wishes rather than implied expectations. And there are a number of us who believe the camera should respect our, oft, logical expectations. One of the most important applications of software (and information technology in general) is to automate repetitive, tedious, error-prone tasks, which would others be left to us humans.
