dunnery85 Posted January 9, 2014 Share #1 Posted January 9, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, Currently own a M7 but about to go digital with the M8. I see many people online who use classic Canon lenses with their Leica but I am unsure of the compatibility. Is there an adapter out there that enables the canon lens to couple with the rangefinder focus? Rather than scale focussing?

Is there an adapter out there that enables the canon lens to couple with the rangefinder focus? Rather than scale focussing? I am not 100% sure but I think those canon lenses are leica screw thread, so u would need a adapter, but I think then they are fully coupled with the M's rangefinder. jaapv Posted January 9, 2014 Share #3 Posted January 9, 2014 They are exactly the same as Leica Thread Mount lenses. Just use an LTM adapter (without cutout for the M.)
