AndyMc Posted January 1, 2014 Share #1  Posted January 1, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hapy new year everyone.  I have used the original 100mm filter systen across my 35mm and MF cameras for 10 years and enjoy using them.  I know Lee make a smaller format for micro and RF cameras however the thought of having duplication really grates me. Id prefer to buy more glass.  Has anyone got any experience of using the 100mm system on Leica RF cameras.  Thanks in advance!  Andy  Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

Mike51 Posted January 1, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted January 1, 2014 Won't they block the viewfinder? Â Yes.....but to an extent, so does the Lee RF/Seven 5 systems. However, if Andy is using an M 240, live view gets around that problem. Â The other thing that needs to be thought about is that soft edge ND grads on 100mm are far too soft. With the RF/Seven 5 system, it's recommended that hard grads are used to replicate an acceptable 'soft' graduation. Â I somehow doubt that anyone regularly uses a 100mm system on an M....but I may be wrong. Â Mike.
AndyMc Posted January 1, 2014 Author Share #4  Posted January 1, 2014 Thanks guys, I guess I'll stick to shooting film landscapes :-)  I use an m8  Thought soft grads would cause an issue.  I have a big stoper that I fancied using.  Thanks for the replies  A  Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
rgacpa Posted January 19, 2014 Share #5 Â Posted January 19, 2014 I have used Lee 100s on my M system. I now use the seven/5. I I remember correctly, I bought Cokin filter rings and glued them to Lee filter rings. Worked well with digital; snap, play, adjust, repeat as necessary. Â I like the smaller Seven/ better for portability... Â Â Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
