...Lovely photos....

Thanky you, Stu.

As the WATE shots cover only about half of my "best of Chile", those who may be interested in the rest can take a look here: A journey from Chilean Patagonia across the land of Volcanos to Valparaiso captured with the Sony A7R

Hi, a woodmouse came during supper-time. (SONY A7, Leitz Tele-Elmar 4/135, JPEG occ, first a crop).

The picture shows the power of modern equipment (and reflections of my dining-room).

Over the year, I expect woodmouse pictures to get better, and so do you, I suppose ...;)

Have a nice weekend!

Very nice shots but in the Algas picture the bottom corners are not sharp at all. Where they out if focus or is this a general issue with this combination?

Out of focus (camera was placed at about 30-40cm distance to the closer parts, the focus range of the lens starts at 0,5m and it was focused propably at about 1m). You find many other WATE examples here and there (UPDATED: Ultra Wide Angle M-Mount Lenses THAT WORK On Sony A7R (Leica "WATE" Tri Elmar 16-18-21mm f/4 ASPH and Voigtlander Ultron 21mm f/1.8 ASPH)) that proof that this lens works excellent on the A7R.

Hi, the tram station at my dear old Alma Mater in Bochum/Germany

(A7, Leica Elmarit 2,8/21 ASPH, f8, JPEG ooc, ISO auto).

(I am playing around with the SONY lens correction app, again.

It works nicely with the Voigtländer 5,6/12. Tomorrow I shall try the 4,5/15 Heliar.)

Have a nice weekend!

Hr. Polygamer,

Its nice to see something about Bochum. I've been there in the OPEL Werk for three weeks in 1992.

Do you have any picture for Bochum Barnhof?

Vielen Dank.

Hi, when I go to Bochum, I always go to Querenburg, where the University is,

on sentimental walks...

But you are right. Next time I shall go to the city centre.

Over recent years, Bochum has lost a lot of employment, and has declined.

Even the Opel plant, which had jobs for many former coal miners, is about to close, as you know ...

Viele Grüße, Immo

Thanks, that looks very useable to me. How does the app work? Does it work like the Fuji one? So you can put in corrections for a selection of lenses and apply them in the camera?

I am going to the Photography show at the NEC (Birmingham UK) tomorrow, Sony are not listed as an exhibitor unfortunately (but then neither are Leica :() hopefully someone will have them to look at

Hi, it is easy to install and use. Should work like Fuji's from what I have read.

Of course, for the settings, one must find one's optima.

The good thing about the SONY app is that lenses which are hopeless on the M9

(Voigtländer 5,6/12, 4,5/15 and 4/21) become useable for €10, the app price.

Not too bad, I would say.

Greetings, Immo.
