Rai68 Posted December 20, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 20, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can anyone give me a little information on the limited edition Montreaux M9-P..I saw one in Leica Myfair, looked beautiful in blue, unfortunately did not have time to ask the staff about it in detail and info on the web seems very limited. How many were made and is it any different to the regular M9?

wattsy Posted December 20, 2013 Share #4 Posted December 20, 2013 Must be this. Sounds like a lot of premium to pay for a bit of blue 'leather'.
earleygallery Posted December 20, 2013 Share #5 Posted December 20, 2013 It's Leica blue leather though, and they helpfully engrave some Jazz related logo on the top plate. I can't imagine why anyone would want to pay a premium for it!

I can't imagine why anyone would want to pay a premium for it! Maybe because for the souvenir photo at the captain's dinner only blue and white colors are in style according to seafaring. The brass band on board will play the matching Glen Miller sound.
