taken with an M9P and 35mm Summicron, transferred to an Epson P3000 portable hard drive each evening, processed back in the United Kingdom using Capture One pro 7 and top and tailed with Adobe CS4

Karl, Stuart and Paul,

 

Thanks for the most kind comments, all much appreciated. The cog mountain railway was a great experience and the information gleaned from the fireman most interesting but he lost me on the function of some of the pipes but I was invited onto the footplate whilst the engine was stationary at the summit. What fascinated me was that the two cogs are the only driven element, the four wheels just keeping the show on the road (see a previous picture in this section)
