I don't think it was the 1940s, so was it 15?? and something to do with the Turks/Ottomans? OK, I give up! Good shot, showing a sturdily constructed boat. What's the story? Boats of this type, larger and smaller are used. From one manned, up to 8, if i'm not mistaken. Many people gather along Valletta and Floriana.
