Guest Gilgamesh Posted December 10, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 10, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Last night I checked the M240 before another week of pictures. I went into the Menu and Lo! I found the colour space had changed to sRGB from the Adobe setting and in the Set function button, the files had been changed from DNG to full sized Jpegs. I have never shot jpegs. Neither changes are disastrous, but since no one touches the camera gear, I am later today, going to have to go back over my most recent images to work out how long this has been thus. Not long I suspect as I both check the histogram and use the Play button regularly which shows the file type. Anyone else experienced anything like this? Advertisement Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Hi Guest Gilgamesh, Take a look here Changed settings. Weird.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted December 10, 2013 Share #2 Posted December 10, 2013 You had inadvertently set the camera to the profile that Leica fondly believes to be the standard settings, despite no photographer ever using them. Set one profile to “basic” with all your preferred general settings to be able to return to them with one push of the set button.
Guest Gilgamesh Posted December 10, 2013 Share #3 Posted December 10, 2013 Ah, now that makes a little more sense, having never delved into such pre-settings. I must have accessed it in error. Cheers for the heads-up.
