eprom Posted November 22, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 22, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, was anybody lucky enough to connect the M9 with LR5 for tethered shooting? I tried out everything but it didn´t work. I run OSX 10.9 Maverick, LR5.2, M9 last firmware. Looking forward to your answers. Best, Peter__

Manolo Laguillo Posted November 22, 2013 Share #7 Posted November 22, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) With Aperture it is very easy tethering the M9 to the Mac. My M9 is sold, and I have to try it with the MM.
pico Posted November 22, 2013 Share #8 Posted November 22, 2013 Lightroom doesn't support tethered shooting with the M9. I noticed the specific omission of M9 tethering in the LR 5 description, but couldn't believe it until your affirmation. I just use Image Capture on the Mac. Bobitybob Posted November 22, 2013 Share #10 Posted November 22, 2013 To asset with your workflow you may wish to consider using the Auto Import function in LR when Image Capture has copied the image to your Mac In LR5 you can set a watched folder via Auto Import in the File Menu which will import the new images into a chosen destination in LR adding any preset info, corrections etc as normal. eprom Posted November 22, 2013 Author Share #11 Posted November 22, 2013 Thank you Bobitybob for that advice. The whole process is so slow that I will do that when I have much, much time;-)
grandetech Posted November 22, 2013 Share #12 Posted November 22, 2013 Adobe seems much more inferior to Apple in this case, quite shame.
