tashley Posted April 17, 2007 Share #21 Â Posted April 17, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm sorry but George is wrong. I have done the test already: same subject, lens, exposure and all. I had one body that did this with pretty much any lens and pretty much any aperture, with any subject containing huge contrast transitions. I had another body that never did. I changed the bad one and now I have two good ones. It's simple. Â Some M8s do this and some don't, and those that do should be fixed. There is no need to re-invent this wheel! thpeters Posted April 18, 2007 Share #24 Â Posted April 18, 2007 After downloading the new upgrade software I have the same problem. What to do now? My camera is just back from Solms, I am not really interested in sending it back again. Â Theo
robertwright Posted April 18, 2007 Author Share #25 Â Posted April 18, 2007 I don't think that mattered, I had these artifacts under 1.092 and now under 1.1 so it seems to be unaffected by firmware so far.
