roccoriley Posted April 19, 2007 Share #21  Posted April 19, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) thank you everyone for your responses TJ, i'm on a mac so i'll check out RAW Developer when i get a chance. I assume its the one by Iridient Digital  If you are on a Mac you really should download the 30 day trial of Aperture. I used C1 for years but prefer Aperture now for the workflow and the database functionality.
Advertisement Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Hi roccoriley, Take a look here best RAW processor?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
mgcd Posted April 19, 2007 Share #22  Posted April 19, 2007 And then you say"what the heck is aperture", I presume your joking. Mark, here is the hack.... http://www.leica-camera-user.com/digital-forum/16559-how-use-aperture-m8-dng-files.html   I had a conversation with an Apple rep last year about support for DMR files in Aperture. I was so underwhelmed by his and Apple's response that as far as I am concerned, I will only buy Aperture when hell freezes over. I thought I was speaking with a Microsoft rep there for a while...  Cheers,
xrogers Posted April 19, 2007 Share #23 Â Posted April 19, 2007 The Aperture workaround is effective and simple. Despite that, I won't spend $300 on a program that only supports my primary camera by slightly convoluted happenstance. For me and my M8, Aperture vs. Lightroom, Lightroom wins on this point alone.
