Has anybody checked to see if these calibrations are cross platform compatible? I just tried them on my windows machine and the results are almost to the point of being posterized. I had this same result with clibrations posted in the past.

Looking at the structure of the file, I would be very surprised if they were not cross-platform compatible.

As you can see below, the file consists mainly of keyword-value pairs.

I'm stumped, really. Maybe the presets just suck! Haha, you never know. I did mention that my monitor isn't calibrated, so...anything could happen. It's an Apple 30" LCD, though, and those are pretty good out of the box, AFAIK.

 

If you have a moment, you might post your neutral settings as a preset and I'll run them through my version of Lightroom.
