ernst_leitz Posted October 28, 2013 Share #1 Posted October 28, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, by accident I failed to push in the SD-card properly. It was still possible to take (a few) pictures and play them on the camera monitor. But when I connected the usb-cable in order to try and transfer to my hard disk, they were gone! What did I do wrong? Or is it not possible? Is there anyone in the forum with an answer to this? Thanks in advance
Advertisement Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Hi ernst_leitz, Take a look here Retrieving from M9 RAM-disk. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
250swb Posted October 28, 2013 Share #2 Posted October 28, 2013 They may have simply been in your camera's buffer waiting to write to the SD card. As soon as you turn the camera off they will disappear. I imagine you have lost them forever, but a tip for the future is to use a card reader to transfer your images (assuming you sort the SNAFU about inserting the card properly), as this is much more reliable and faster than connecting the USB cable to the camera.
