MarkP Posted December 15, 2013 Share #10 Posted December 15, 2013 Why are we wasting electrons & pixels even discussing those photos?
zlatkob Posted December 15, 2013 Share #11 Posted December 15, 2013 Really I can't belive this... those pictures seems to be taken by an iPhone.. I disagree. This photographer does good work and has an impressive list of clients, exhibitions and awards. I notice that one or two of the critics in this thread are anonymous. It's easy to take potshots at a working pro when you're anonymous and immune from criticism yourself.
mwilliamsphotography Posted December 15, 2013 Share #12 Posted December 15, 2013 Before retiring, I was and ad agency creative, and involved with either approving or selecting food photographers for many top national food brands. There was an ebb and flow of styles that ran the gamut from very buttoned up formal type work, to extremely loose candid "you are there" sorts of realism. While this stuff is not my cup of tea, that so many advertisers used this photographer means that is what they wanted. None of this stuff is done by accident ... the media cost to run the ad cost far, far more than the photos. - Marc
Jeff S Posted December 15, 2013 Share #13 Posted December 15, 2013 Really I can't belive this... those pictures seems to be taken by an iPhone.. Pics on the web could be taken with most any camera and you wouldn't know the difference in a blind test. Nothing new here. Meanwhile, he's getting paid for his work, presumably by satisfied clients.
