Aspect ratio

What aspect ratio do you guys use with the DLux 6

Well, the one that suits my intentions at the moment, of course...

This means lots of black and white squares (my mini-Rolleiflex....), but at other times 2:3 in colour (my pocket M9....:D). More seldom 4:3 and only occasionally 16:9.

But that´s me, and my pictures. You make your own pictures, and choose according to that. I´d say, don´t sweat it; there´s not much of an IQ penalty in using any of them, so use the one that looks best in a given situation.

Sorry, let´s try again. Square shots (1:1 aspect ratio) were once the hallmark of the twin-eye reflex cameras, like the classical Rolleiflex. That´s what I used for years, mainly with black-and-white film, and using the D-Lux 6 that way allows me to re-live that period of my photographic life.

And rollerballs do not enter the equation....;)
