Pappy Posted April 14, 2007 Share #1  Posted April 14, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi everyone. It's been a whole week since I've had my Digilux2. No regrets buying this one at all. My first Leica, and probably not my last. Here are two shots of the Hudson's Bay Company's Montreal downtown building that looked "good enough" to me. Cropped to 800x600 in GIMP, no corrections of any sort. Suggestions are welcome.  More to come.  Thanks  Paul
stuny Posted April 15, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted April 15, 2007 Paul - Â congratulations on finally getting the D2. You're already showing some of the D2 Leica glow. With #2 I rotated it 3 degrees to the right and sharpened jsut a bit. Don;t be affraid to make adjustments after shooting.
Pappy Posted April 16, 2007 Author Share #3 Â Posted April 16, 2007 wow.... that was a big difference for sure. I am really hesitant to start down the road of digital fix-ups solely due to the fact that once I start, the rest of my pics will look worse. I will want to go back through everything I have on disk to fix them in that case, but just that one fix-up you did has already convinced me. What a difference a small touch up will do! Thanks a million.

Pappy Posted April 17, 2007 Author Share #5 Â Posted April 17, 2007 Thanks Albert. Yeah, Montreal is a truly beautiful city. Too bad winter is sooo long. I am having great fun with the camera so far and am not planning another digital cam purchase for at least a decade.... ;-}
