NikonJeff Posted October 11, 2013 Share #2 Posted October 11, 2013 I'm pretty sure Calumet does professional sensor cleaning in house while you wait. They have a store in NYC - give them a call... A miller Posted October 11, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted October 11, 2013 Many thanks. I called and you are 100% correct. They charge $54 plus tax and usually they need a day. It would be nice to know if there are any other Leica-centric places out there, although a sensor is probably a sensor... Thanks again! Adam
A miller Posted October 12, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted October 12, 2013 Thanks for your comment, Tommy. I had a chance to call Leica in SOHO and they referred me to Nippon Photo Clinic. I have had an ok experience with them with my Linhof, so I went ahead and took my M9 to them. They are double the price of Calumet. Thanks again. rafael_macia Posted October 14, 2013 Share #6 Posted October 14, 2013 I had once heard Nippon was about $25. Just what I heard. Chrysler Camera on 34th St &9th does it but when I last checked, it was $75 there
A miller Posted October 14, 2013 Author Share #7 Posted October 14, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Kant - Many thanks. I believe prices may have increased. One thing to note, though, is that Nippon charges about double for an M9 compared to a sensor clean on any other FF camera.
