wilfredo Posted October 1, 2013 Author Share #22 Posted October 1, 2013 John, Thanks for sharing the photos. I like to keep things simple and I hate clutter so my Leica kit consists of two lenses, one M8 and a D2. I'm waiting for the arrival of my MM in the next few days, I'm excited. I've been using a 35mm ASPH Summicron and 50mm ASPH Summilux with my M8. I will see what kind of results I get with the LUX on the MM before I consider anything else. At times this lens is too sharp and detailed but I am able to tame it a bit during PP. I've owned various 50mm lenses, from Zeiss to Hexar and a two decades old Summicron. The LUX is by far the most impressive. No Nocti bokeh, but I can live with that. Cheers!
platypus Posted October 2, 2013 Share #23 Posted October 2, 2013 Simply the best 50 mm lens ever built. Worth the money if your photography is worth the lens. APO 50 ASPH: absolutely worth the money and then some, hope it thinks my photography is worthy of it!
Jager Posted October 10, 2013 Share #24 Posted October 10, 2013 Congratulations, Wilfredo. You're going to love the MM. It will work wonderfully with your current 35 and 50mm lenses.

platypus Posted October 11, 2013 Share #26 Posted October 11, 2013 Thanks Paul, you've made my day! To be honest I have synchronicity to thank for that image. All the relevant elements came together for that split second. That's the magic of photography.
