Advertisement Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Hi Guest WPalank, Take a look here New LR Update. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest WPalank Posted September 18, 2013 Share #2 Posted September 18, 2013 Can someone else open a Monochrom DNG file to CC and tell me if they get an error message? Addendum: make sure you Update at the CS level and all is right in the world.
erudolph Posted September 18, 2013 Share #3 Posted September 18, 2013 I'm using Photoshop CS6. After LR 5.2 update, when opening a DNG to edit in CS6 I got the message that I might want to update Camera Raw. However, it allowed me to edit without doing the update if I chose. Somewhat confused by this: "Refinements to the Local Adjustment Brush include the ability to reposition brush adjustments by clicking and dragging on brush adjustment pins." Clicking and dragging doesn't work for me.
Jeff S Posted September 18, 2013 Share #4 Posted September 18, 2013 The last screen prompt before opening the new version was indeed surprising, especially since I've never seen that with any prior update. It seemed as though LR was being installed for the first time instead of merely being updated. Jeff

All fine here after updating both LR 5.2 and updating PS CC for the new ACR 8.2 I haven't had a chance to look at the new features, anything interesting other than support for a bunch of cameras I don't use? Probably works better than using an updater but it's a pain for me with my glacial internet as it takes hours to download.

Mine took minutes, and I haven't yet upgraded my drives and memory to speed things along. You indeed have a slow connection, a slow computer and/or a monster catalog.
