Oropesa del Mar, Castellón, Spain.

Typical example of traditional architecture in Spain. The larger balcony belongs to the "noble" floor, with living and dining room, kitchen, etc. The second one, with smaller balcony, for family bedrooms. And, sometimes, just under the roof, the servant's quarters.

The balconies function were to see the street without to be seen, behind the blind or late curtain most of the time, and occasionally to see the fiestas and processions (and to be seen, in this case). R 6.2, Apo-Telyt 180, Velvia 50. Thanks for looking.
