Â When I have the unit in "mirror lockup" mode I notice that the mirror is not completely out of the light path unless I press down on the release lever. Is this typical for these units? Please forgive me but I want to be sure about this before I call the party I bought the unit from. Â With the unit set to Mirror Lockup your unit has the mirror swing completely out of the light path with the release lever in nuetral (not depressing it at all), correct? carstenw Posted April 12, 2007 Share #6 Â Posted April 12, 2007 When turning from the black dot to the red dot, the mirror reaches the fully raised position about 1/3 of the way between the two dots, and stays there. Pushing on the release lever changes nothing. If I turn it the other way, from the yellow dot to the red dot, I have to turn it further, maybe about 3/4 of the way, before the mirror reaches the top position.
