There is an extensive discussion on this topic on this topic. http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-collectors-historica/257005-flange-flange-distance-visoflex-body-3.html#post2266249 As far as I know there are no similar adapters currently commercially available. Wlaidlaw was trying to get a group of interested people to have a batch made but I think he is now more interested in R lenses.

thighslapper Posted September 7, 2013 Share #7 Posted September 7, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Leica TXB00 acts as a Visoflex bypass...... you can use the longer lenses but you have to use their screw threads....... which the original visoflex designed lenses have..... I have used them on my M .... but it tends to show their age and they are a bit short of contrast in any other than bright conditions... Not aware of any bayonet to bayonet adapter that is the right dimension to substitute for the Viso .... and I looked far and wide..... To be honest, having sourced and tried a few R lenses I don't think I will be touching my collection of antique glass.....

rafael_macia Posted September 7, 2013 Author Share #12 Posted September 7, 2013 Novoflex Shop NOVOFLEX Adapter LEM/VIS I just worry about this statement from the Novoflex listing of their adapter "The adapter will not transfer functions from the camera body to the lens." If I am not mistaken the adapter must bring up the 28/ frame lines, so that the Leica body will recognize the adapter as an R lens menu. The Novoflex I think ........ brings up the 50 frame lines ...... which is why Novoflex put the wording "The adapter will not transfer functions from the camera body to the lens." in. This problem is akin to the Zeiss ZM 18mm lens mount needing to be changed so it brings up the WATE menu. The Zeiss would activate the 50 finder. John Milich made a lot of replacement flanges .......... same situation ... different gizzmo rafael
