Paulus Posted August 19, 2013 Share #1 Posted August 19, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have my Leica M for a week or so now. The camera feels great and works great. Feels better in my hands than the M9. Maybe because the shutter just gives a much better ( or should I say less ) sound. Don't really like the Lv. But that ok, because I hide the screen behind a case-door anyway. With small Sd cards ( 2 Gb ) it's very fast. But alas you have to change a lot. Feels a little bit like changing your films every 37 frames ( although you get more than 37 but i forgot to count. ) I miss the info:" you have shot 37 still 23 left" But all in all: I am glad to traded my M9 for an M 10. p.s. I was wrong in my other post after all... http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m9-forum/269961-average-aged-wont-buy-m240.html some photo's: You can download the big jpegs. Advertisement Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Hi Paulus, Take a look here I must say I like the Leica M: very small review. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
algrove Posted August 19, 2013 Share #2 Posted August 19, 2013 Congrats and glad you followed your own feelings instead of so many others, some of whom do not even own the camera, but offer "expert" advice. Just reread your post of many months ago and it takes a real person to admit what you did, even if we all forgot about what you said so long ago. Shade Posted August 20, 2013 Share #3 Posted August 20, 2013 It's always important to experience the camera first hand before making the decision. I was skeptical with the M240, until I tried it myself, and I liked it.
