echorec Posted June 2, 2007 Share #21 Posted June 2, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) James, That is good news about the finder. I see prism separation on almost half of the old M2s and M3s I come across. You can spot it by looking at the finder from the front: The outer "frame" is angled about 30 degress inwards and you can see some shiny glue leftovers on the "frame". Glad you do not have that problem. BTW tried to reply to your friendly PM re: Konica film but your inbox is full. Best regards, Gunnar

robert_parker Posted June 3, 2007 Share #22 Posted June 3, 2007 Robert - what is up with your rangefinder? As you say it is heavier than the lllf but has that similar tactile quality and it is fast (well, faster) to use with the 35mm lens. So far so good. James I think it's slightly off at infinity, so the image diverges again as the lens reaches the 'lazy eight' - needs a CLA, I suspect, though I might mention it in passing to the dealer I got it from (at a reasonable price), thouigh it took me a good few weeks to realise that it was off
