Red dot version of Panasonic GX7 ?

Zeiss will release manual focus lenses for the new Sony system late in 2014, and the ZM line of lenses seems to be damned.

Definitely. The thing about the ZM lenses is that they are designed to work with the Ikon camera, not the M. This is obvious by the many which focus down 0.5m. The Ikon was discontinued, so there's very little reason for Zeiss to continue making these lenses.

Right. They are lenses for a film camera. The Biogons and the digital medium are specially problematic.

I don't know if the new Zeiss manual focus lenses for E mount and 24x36 format will have a M mount series as well. It would be great news!

Seems to suggest it wont be a red dot version of GX7.

(On a side note Sigma are rumored to be bringing out a Foveon M43 next year.

If so it sure will make the centre sweet spot of M lenses shine in a way beond any digital M).

If they are correct and introduce a new camera without an EVF I won't buy it and I am sure it will cost them huge loss of sales. If on the other hand what they are proposing is a digital version of the Contax G2, so APS-C with and autofocus lenses then they will have an advantage over the Fuji X range and will not damage M sales.
