Advertisement Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Hi marmelade, Take a look here Any way to identify leather lens "cogs/barrels" for Leica M lenses?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jankap Posted July 28, 2013 Share #2  Posted July 28, 2013 I bought some, 5 Euros each. At home I saw the Leica identification. They have to carry Voigtländer now. Jan

jankap Posted July 28, 2013 Share #4 Â Posted July 28, 2013 In the top of the barrel "Leica" is deep printed, is that the correct word? A colourless print, mechanical printed into the leather. Of course these came out of the cellar of the camera shop, after I had asked: do you perhaps have a barrel for this lens. Â In another shop in Nuremberg I asked for chemicals. Here too, they went into the cellar, to look after the rest posts. No success here for that what I needed. But a very small shop somewhere else in N could deliver, they even offer courses in labor work. Jan

Jan  Hello Jan,  Yes this shows the Leica logo, but it does not give any information on which lens the barrel is suited for..  they are made with different foam fittings that are suited for that specific lens/hood.  oh well i guess its a little bit like the shoe of Cinderella ? see who fits ..  best, Are
