symmetron Posted July 17, 2013 Share #1 Posted July 17, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Other than the Leica EVF and the Olympus VF-2, are there any other choices? Does the Panasonic LVF-1 work?

dkCambridgeshire Posted July 18, 2013 Share #3 Posted July 18, 2013 The Olympus VF-4 has recently superseded the VF-2. If and when Leica announce their own version of the VF-4 and subject to necessary firmware upgrades, the VF-4 could/might be an option for the X Vario, X2 and M240. However, given the delays in making other M 240 accessories available (e.g. finger loops and R to M adaptor) there could be similar delays for a new EVF. dunk
symmetron Posted July 19, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted July 19, 2013 I'm looking for a used VF-2 on eb*y. Apparently, earlier this year they were selling for $160 new, but now they are back to $249. Cheaper than the Leica version, but still not cheap.
