Dlux 6 with Olympus EVF-2

Hello,

 

I recently purchased a Dlux 6 and I'm still amazed about the sharpness. Now with the brigtness I like to use a viewfinder. I own one, the Olympus EVF-2, which I have on my Olympus E-P3. I would like to know if this finder fits and works fine on the Dlux-6, so I don't have to purchase another one.

I think it works. I use the Panasonic version (sometimes)

I don't know but I think Leica sells two EVF, one for the M/X2 and one for the Dlux. I don't think they're interchangeable. I know, I don't think that helps much...

I am using the D-LUX 6 with Panasonic's DMW LVF-2. Works great. I do not know if the Olympus EVF is compatible, but I would suggest looking at retailer's sites in the review section to see if others have found it compatible. I did this to be sure that the LVF-2 worked with the D-LUX 6.

My too. It works a treat and for this old-timer it's much nicer to hold a camera at my eye than floating about at arm's-lenght.

 

I just wish they'd made it smaller. It changes the camera from a casually pocketable compact to a 'serious' camera.

You say you have a new Dlux 6 and also have a Olympus EVF 2 but want to know if they are compatable...................am I missing something here

1/. Put the Olympus EVF2 on the Delux 6

2/. switch on the delux 6

3/. look through the EVF and see if it works................duuuuuuuuuu

D-Lux 6 and Olympus EVF-2* are not compatible. (*correct = "VF-2")

my D-Lux 6 only compatible with the Lumix Live View Finder = "panasonic DMW-LVF2"

leica's X2 und XVario only compatible with the Olympus VF-2 or the original leica.

(olympus and leica the same View Finder.)
