Hello guys!

Got my M240 three weeks ago and I'm quite happy with it. Now the real question comes, I've been using an M8 Panda that I bought in feb 2009 up until now. It has about 13000actuations and has never failed me. Should I keep or sell it? I'll probably won't be using it so much anymore since I'm more of a "one camera guy" and I also see some difficulties using it together with the M240 because of the IR-filters. If it was a "standard M8" I would probably sell it directly but since it's the Panda version I'm thinking of whether or not it will be a future collectible. There are not that many made (100 something) but normally all "digital things" have very little collectors value. So what do you feel about it?

The camera is of course no where near perfect mint since I've used it a lot, but still...

I'd say sell it. I have a collectable Leica Digilux 4.3, my first digital, still going strong. All it really collects though is dust. Love it? yep. appreciating in value? Doubt it.

Maybe the Panda will be different, but I agree, anything electric is down not up.

I have an M8 anti-panda as well. It appears that they can bring about twice the $1.5k that a standard M8 brings.. They're not appreciating certainly, but they're not depreciating at the same rate as the standard M8s. I just use mine regularly and have no interest in selling it, but I thought that was interesting.
