The Online Photographer: High-Tech Viewfinder I used to teach my students to previsualise their shots using a standard 35mm transparency mount. You hold it closer or further away from your eye to change the angle of view, using your nose as a reference point. In fact, I would send them out without cameras, just the 'viewfinder' to practise framing and composition. Much quicker than putting a camera to your eye. I like the look of the commercial version.
