robnuern Posted June 27, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 27, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently bought a D-Lux 6, extra battery and EVF-3. I would like to find a carrying case that would hold the camera with the EVF attached and that would have a pocket for the battery, EVF-3 cover and hot shoe cover. I have looked at a number of cases but cannot find one that works without being far too large. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks, Rob

Guest badbob Posted June 27, 2013 Share #2 Posted June 27, 2013 Leica Small System Case for V-Lux, D-Lux, X1, 2 Cameras 18746 This is the best looking case I've seen. It's small overall, but just as thick as it is wide or long.
Northwest Wanderer Posted June 27, 2013 Share #3 Posted June 27, 2013 You may want to look at the small Lowepro cases. I have one that holds the exact same gear. I leave the evf attached to the camera.
Thomv Posted June 28, 2013 Share #4 Posted June 28, 2013 I recently bought a D-Lux 6, extra battery and EVF-3. Thanks, Rob No. The camera is for taking pictures and not for storing in a carrying case.
JayGlaze379 Posted June 30, 2013 Share #5 Posted June 30, 2013 No. The camera is for taking pictures and not for storing in a carrying case. My car is for driving, but it still goes in my garage when I'm done. I second the vote for the small system case. It's a decent size, and it fits pretty much everything you need, charger, memory cards, etc..., and the camera fits fine with the EVF on. Before I got the system case, I used one by case logic that worked nicely, it was just a deep tall pouch, but it fit the camera nicely.
jporos Posted June 30, 2013 Share #6 Posted June 30, 2013 I know this is not what you are looking for, but here is how I solved the problem of carrying the D-LUX 6 and an EVF: http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb247/jporos/Leica-1_zps950b7091.jpg I have the Leica case for the D-LUX 6 and bought a small accessory case with a snap that fits on the case strap. I have to take out the camera, take out the EVF, and place it on the hot shoe before I shoot, but it has not been much of a problem for me.
Guytou Posted June 30, 2013 Share #7 Posted June 30, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I make exactly the same thing with my D-Lux 5 and the EVF1 from Panasonic. If I need the viewfinder, then it is quickly assembled on the camera. If not it remains in its small bag fixed on the strap. Guy
