Puts has posted a supplement to this article.

Don't know about the technical analysis, but I do love it when he concludes that the M8 continues to excel in certain areas, even beyond the M9. Not the first time he's reached this conclusion.

But I didn't need his analysis to determine that I prefer the M8.2 to the M9 for b/w; making prints did that.

"Darling! Remember what this Erwin Puts fellow said about my Monochrom?! Now he is saying my M8.2 is worth using! Look! See all those colored lines! This one is my M8!"

"That's great, dear! I'm so happy you. You know all this time I was wondering if your cameras were really good enough for you... Would you thank mr Puts that he has set my mind at ease?"

"The best shadow differentiation we find with the M8."

I probably can't understand in depth some of E. Puts' conclusions... but indeed I have always thought that my M8's ability to keep details in shadows is excellent... and I would be surprised to find it better again in M240...

... and hope to verify this... soon or later.... :o
